The Little Magic Flute ’01

The Little Magic Flute ’01

The Little Magic Flute, a production by the Gran Teatre del Liceu, is a show designed to bring the fascinating world of opera closer to all audiences but fundamentally to children and a younger public.

In February 2004 the French version premiered in Toulouse.

Accompanied by a flute and a piano, the bird-catcher Papageno explains, with the help of other singers and actors, the extraordinary adventures he has had with his friend, Prince Tamino, when they went to distant lands to rescue the Princess Pamina, daughter of the Queen of the Night, who had been imprisoned by the evil Sarastro.
