PERSEPHONE IN THE CAVE

For the first time since its discovery, 53 years ago, the Ballet room at Nerja’s Cave became the venue for a theatre performance.
Comediants’ own vision of the Greek myth of Persephone resonated last July 22nd inside the breath-taking cave, where an audience of more than 600 people heard the songs by the queen of the underworld responsible for taking the souls of the deceased and leading them to Hades.
An incomparable setting for a moment of self-reflection in regards to the attitude of people when the time comes to perform our last scene in the theatre of life.
